William J. Ruckelshaus

President and Chief Executive Officer

William J. Ruckelshaus became president and CEO in April 2011 after serving as president and acting CEO since November 2010, and board member since May 2007.

Ruckelshaus previously served as Chief Financial Officer of AudienceScience, Inc., a venture–backed advertising technology and services company.

Prior to AudienceScience, Mr. Ruckelshaus was Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Development for Expedia, Inc., where he oversaw Expedia's acquisitions and led strategic planning and cross–company business development efforts.

Mr. Ruckelshaus came to Expedia from Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group, where he was a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions focusing on services, software and Internet verticals.

Mr. Ruckelshaus is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Eric Emans

Chief Financial Officer

Eric Emans was appointed to chief accounting officer in January 2008 after serving as corporate controller for InfoSpace since 2006. His management responsibilities include leading the accounting organization, overseeing financial reporting and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.

Prior to returning to InfoSpace, Emans served as director of operations at Corbis Mobile where he was responsible for mobile business operations. Previously, Eric served in a variety of positions at InfoSpace, including senior manager of revenue assurance, and senior manager of finance. Eric began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP where he served as an auditor.

Emans holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Western Washington University, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington and is a licensed CPA in the state of Washington.

Mike Glover

Vice President of Business Development

Michael Glover was promoted to vice president of business development in April 2008. He is responsible for all aspects of InfoSpace’s strategic partner strategy.

Glover brings more than 15 years of business development, sales and marketing experience to InfoSpace. He joined the firm in 2000 as a business development manager before being promoted to director in 2004 and senior director in 2006. Prior to joining InfoSpace, Glover was director of marketing at Uniglobe.com, an online travel agency. He began his career at Sterling Management as a product manager.

Glover is a graduate from Oregon State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Travis McElfresh

Chief Technology Officer

Travis McElfresh was appointed InfoSpace's chief technology officer in September 2010.

McElfresh has more than 15 years of experience in product management, software engineering, operations management, and online consumer experiences and platforms in the technology sector. Most recently, McElfresh served as chief technology officer / vice president of product and engineering at 1Cast.com, a news and video service platform startup.

Prior to that, he spent five years at MSNBC.com as vice president of technology overseeing all areas of product development, software engineering and web operations. Previous to MSNBC.com, McElfresh served as lead program manager at Xbox where he directed the entire web application platform for Xbox.com. Additionally, McElfresh has held technical positions at companies including OneSoft, AmeriTeach and the University of Wyoming.

McElfresh holds a bachelor's degree from Whitman College and an MBA from University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business.

Linda Schoemaker

General Counsel and Secretary

Linda Schoemaker was appointed interim general counsel and secretary of InfoSpace in June 2011. She represents the Company on legal and operational matters and plays an important role in developing and implementing the Company's corporate strategy.

Schoemaker most recently served as counsel for Verdiem Corporation, a power management software company. Prior to that, she served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for aQuantive, Inc., a digital marketing service and technology company, from February 2004 until its acquisition by Microsoft Corporation in August 2007. From December 2000 to February 2004, she served as senior vice president and general counsel of Advanced Digital Information Corporation (ADIC), a manufacturer of tape libraries and storage management software, which is now part of Quantum Corp.

Previous to joining ADIC, Schoemaker was a partner in the law firm Perkins Coie LLP, and a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Her practice focused on corporate finance, including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital. Schoemaker joined Perkins Coie LLP in September 1989 and was admitted as a partner in January 1996.

Schoemaker received a bachelor's degree in social studies from Harvard University and earned her juris doctor from the University of Michigan.
